Tyrone International Ltd The original contract included manufacturing, delivery, installation and commissioning of the complete plant. Tyrone International also provided comprehensive training to Crown Aggregates operating personnel, upskilling their team to optimise the plant and maximise their innovative environmental solutions.
ACCELERATING THE CIRCULAR ECONOMY ACROSS THE MIDLANDS
Crown Aggregates, owners of Hartshill Quarry in Nuneaton, Warwickshire, approached Tyrone International Ltd in February 2022 with a requirement to significantly increase the production of quality washed scalpings and a vision to drastically reduce the amount of construction and demolition (C&D) waste entering landfill within the area by investing in a Tyrone International Ltd plant.

THE NUMBERS DON’T LIE
To date the plant has processed the following materials with plenty of spare capacity when required.
- Over 250,000 tonnes of scalpings
- Over 60k tonnes C&D
- Over 15k tonnes of trommel fines
- 96% Uptime
The plant is comfortably processing over 200tph and has already processed over 300,000 tonnes of quality recycled washed aggregates from Scalpings, C&D waste and trommel fines that would have previously been put into landfill.

Thanks to the 360° servicing accessibility, the plant is in pristine condition, recent visitors have been amazed that the plant has been operational for almost 12 months now.
