PROJECT OVERVIEW

Tyrone International successfully designed, engineered, manufactured and installed North America’s first mobile soil washing facility for Headlands Environmental in British Columbia, Canada. This landmark project represents a major advancement in sustainable soil remediation and demonstrates how innovative wet processing technology can help transform contaminated and excess soils into valuable reusable materials.

Working alongside its Canadian dealer, Frontline Washing Systems, Tyrone International delivered a complete end-to-end solution tailored to the specific requirements of Headlands Environmental. By combining industry-leading soil washing technology with advanced water treatment systems, the facility provides a sustainable alternative to landfill disposal while supporting the growing demand for soil remediation services throughout Canada.

THE SOLUTION

Leveraging decades of expertise in aggregate washing, water treatment and material recovery, Tyrone International developed a bespoke mobile soil washing system capable of processing contaminated and excess soils whilst maximising the recovery of valuable sand and aggregate products. 

The facility incorporates several patented technologies and has been engineered to provide rapid deployment, operational flexibility and exceptional performance. Designed as a fully integrated closed-loop system, the plant combines washing, classification and advanced water treatment technologies to deliver maximum material recovery with minimal environmental impact.

Throughout the project, Frontline Washing Systems provided local project support and worked closely with Tyrone International and Headlands Environmental to ensure a smooth installation and commissioning process.
