Hillhead 2022 has drawn to close and we at Tyrone International wanted to take a moment to reflect on the exhibition.
Visitors packed into the vast Hillhead Quarry, under beautiful clear blue skies, and we got the chance to meet a wide range of industry figures, find out about their needs and explain how we want to move everyone forward with our vision for the future of recycling and aggregates.
On display we had our T-Scrub 1600 wash plant, which combines pre-rising screens, a log washer, sizing screens and trash screens, and can process up to 200 tons per hour (TPH) of recycled aggregates. Having the T-Scrub 1600 on show, we were able to demonstrate how we design and engineer our plant equipment for the real world, with a focus on ease of access and maintenance.
With the unit on display we were also able to demonstrate how our bespoke designs take our customers needs into account: as the T-Scrub 1600 we showed at Hillhead will now be installed with a customer at a site adjacent to the sea and therefore needs to be able to withstand even tougher conditions than usual. Responding to this, it features galvanised exterior parts and marine-grade paint in order to help protect it from salt corrosion.
The response from visitors to Hillhead was nothing short of tremendous, with a lot of interest shown in our commitment to driving aggregate wash plant design forward with careful and intelligent engineering focussed on lowering total cost of ownership (TCO), raising productivity and offering industry-leading customer care.
To those of you who came to see us at Hillhead, we want to offer our sincere thanks and to those who were not able to come we hope to see you soon.
